Connecticut Voices for Children (formerly Children's Health Council)
The Children's Health Council was created by the Connecticut General Assembly
to help ensure that all eligible children are enrolled in HUSKY and to ensure
that all children who are enrolled receive regular well-child care and all other
necessary health care services. To advance these goals, the Children's Health
Council tracks enrollment in HUSKY and monitors access to and use of HUSKY services.
The Council is now a part of Connecticut Voices for Children, a nonprofit children's
advocacy organization.

The Connecticut Society of Pediatric Dentistry
The CSPD is the state affiliate of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry,
the specialty organization for pediatric dentists. The AAPD is the recognized
authority on matters pertaining to dentistry for children, and has played a leading
role in the pursuit of quality oral health care for the nation's children.

GHLA is a not-for-profit law firm whose staff helps clients with civil legal
issues. GHLA advocates use their resources to serve people of low income to assure
that all people are treated justly. GHLA is committed to using the law to improve
access to quality health care for low-income families.

Hartford Health Department
Created in 1884, the Hartford Health Department of 2000 has expanded its scope
in pursuit of a more comprehensive objective: to ensure that the residents of
Hartford are as healthy and free from disease and health risk as possible The
Hartford Health Department has assumed a leadership role in the community by
building public health infrastructure, developing a comprehensive Hartford Community
Health Partnership, and embracing the three core functions of public health:
Assessment, Policy Development, and Assurance.
