Cultural Understanding and Sensitivity in Healthcare

An interactive course in which participants are invited to examine their personal prejudices in addition to the biases of others. Discussions will cover the importance of health equity and the need for medical interpretation services in health care, as well as learning from the experiences of a dentist who practices in a multi-cultural setting. 5 CEU credits will be offered.
