Please Contact
the Legislative
Leadership IMMEDIATELY
Language that would increase HUSKY dental
rates has been removed from SB 1, the
apparent vehicle for the Democratic
leadership's health care reforms.
That means the $20M to raise HUSKY dental
rates in that budget is at great risk. Please
contact the legislative leadership below now
and ask them to
- Please keep the language that raises
HUSKY dental rates alive and
- Please keep $20M in the budget to
raise HUSKY
dental rates
Here's why:
- These funds, applied to increased HUSKY
dental rates, will get thousands of kids
the critical oral health care they need,
reducing pain and suffering.
- More poor children will receive care
since more dentists will be able to
participate in HUSKY because they will be
able to cover their out-of-pocket costs.
- More preventative dental care will
reduce costs over time by reducing the
need for expensive emergency and restorative
care.
Please
call or email NOW,
the legislative session
ends tomorrow.
